Map of the Lake Titicaca

Lake Titicaca straddles the border between Peru and Bolivia in the Andes mountain range. It is one of the largest lakes in South America and the highest navigable body of water in the world. It is said to be the cradle of the Incas and has several ruins. Here, you can find the Uros Floating Islands, a set of approximately 80 islands built from reeds, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of Lake Titicaca.
